Kirby Grange opens corner shop for residents

The corner shop is now officially open here at Kirby Grange care home and our residents are loving the new addition to the home.

Kirby Grange manager, Laura, has worked hard to create a space within the home where residents can freely purchase any items they may need. The shop is fully stocked with newspapers, stationery, fresh fruit, books, cards to send to friends and relatives and sweets and snacks to share in front of a movie.

The corner shop also includes a quiet and comfortable space where we have our library. Residents are able to sit and read or browse the books we have in stock.

We are all thrilled at how the new shop looks and how beneficial it has already been to our residents. Well done to Laura and the team, it looks great!
